I passed Optical Insight's new store on 35th street between Broadway and 7th Avenue. I bought great regular glasses and sunglasses. The selection and prices are great. Welcome to the neighborhood!
I agree with most comments - the sales people are very rude. I've been there a few times over the years, and one thing hasn't change - the rudeness.
